Cyberpunk 2077 is a gift that keeps on giving!

In a world where publishers like 505 Games screws with its customers in the name of profit; there is hope. And that hope is CD Projekt Red (CDPR)!

CDPR has been on a roll this year, proving to publishers that profit will come if you remain loyal to your fan bases and customers. Things like free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Complete Edition being offered free for next-generation console users who have it purchased; are some of the best news I’ve heard so far this year!

Now CDPR is back again to prove that just because some games are compatible with next-generation consoles, doesn’t mean you need to up the pricing.

Cyberpunk 2077 without any extra cost!

As we wait for next-generation consoles to arrive, publishers are facing a difficult choice on how to bring over their current newest games to the next generation while making a profit.

It has become quite the controversy with certain publishers like 505 Games not offering any form of upgrades for existing customers while others are opting for a more subtle way of earning a buck.

Games like NBA 2K21 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are charging customers an additional 10 USD dollars, a total of 70 USD dollars for the whole game, to upgrade it to next-generation. At least there’s some hope for existing customers in these scenarios.

However, some publishers have decided to forgo these restrictions and offer existing customers and new buyers the same pricing with a free upgrade to next-generation. One such publisher is CDPR, and they are doing it with their upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 will retain its standard pricing of 60 USD dollars and will not be charging any additional cost. Which means consumers will be receiving an upgrade of the game for next-generation consoles for free!

The approach CDPR has taken will make a lot of consumers happy about getting the Cyberpunk 2077 now, without the fear of needing to pay more to enjoy something that they have been waiting for so long.
