The hour has finally come. After a nearly a full week of grueling battles, it’s finally time to crown the undisputed champion of the ZOWIE Asia Extremesland Counterstrike Asia Open 2024! 4 teams went in to fight it out, only one made it out as champion!
Thanks to the graces of ZOWIE Asia, Emerge Group and DIFY Singapore, I can say that I bore witness to an epic finale! A true clash of the titans!

It was a tough fight. It was a tremendous clash. It was an all out brawl! A battle for the ages that will long be remembered…or at least until ZOWIE Asia Extremesland Counterstrike Asia Open 2025 rolls around.
I’ll remember it fondly though, because if nothing else, I was there. There to take in the atmosphere, there to enjoy the thrills and spills with the crowd as the teams fought it out. Best of all, I was there to see a new champion crowned. Perhaps the unlikeliest of champions in fact!

ZOWIE Asia Extremesland Counterstrike Asia Open 2024 crowns a new champion team; XO Esports! A team nobody honestly expected to win. Formed just a few weeks, XO Esports overcame everything in their way to become champions!
Unbelievable!
Like Chancellor Palpatine said in The Phantom Menace, “We will watch your career (or careers in this case) with great interest.” XO Esports has shown that they’re a force to be reckoned with.
Might we even see them on the world stage one day?
Only time will tell.
