It seems like it was just yesterday that I arrived in Shanghai for the ZOWIE Asia Extremesland Counterstrike Asia Open 2024! It wasn’t! It was TWO days ago. Yeah, I know! Time flies fast while you’re having fun!

That fun’s all due to the kindness of our sponsors at ZOWIE Asia, Emerge Group and DIFY Singapore! Thanks so much for letting me tag along!

It’s now Day 3 of the tournament and things have been heating up as every team remaining fights to avoid elimination! Some will find themselves up against familiar foes from early in the tournament, while others find their path forward blocked by new challengers!

Now, today’s a little bit different from the past two days. The fallen from the Winners’ Bracket have to compete again versus yesterday’s victors to determine who in the Lower Bracket moves on.

Basically, that means the winners from today and tomorrow all move on to the Playoffs Saturday!

So without further hemming and hawing…let’s get it on with the results!

Group A

Rare Atom vs Chinggis Warriors

19 – 17

Chinggis Warriors vs Gods Reign

13 – 10
11 – 13
13 – 8

Group B

XO Esports vs Real Original Gaming

13 – 3

Real Original Gaming vs Blaze Warriors

13 – 1
13 – 5

If you’re looking to catch the action for yourself, here’s today’s stream.

As always, you can catch the stream live for yourself tomorrow on Youtube via ZOWIE e-Sports APAC channel!
