Last night marked the start of this year’s E3, one of the biggest gaming expos in the world. If you’re not familiar with E3, it’s a huge convention that’s all about gaming, where the biggest names in the industry gather to show off their upcoming games. Some games are known, some are leaked or rumored…and a few, completely out of the blue. E3 2021: Ubisoft is the first in our series of E3 articles covering the reveals from the major gaming players.

You guessed it this one is about Ubisoft.

The Crew 2: Season 3 Incoming

Fans of Ubisoft open world racer should be salivating at this news. The company’s just revealed a new Season for the game is incoming July 7. Expect new cars, events and the like when it hits next month.

Brawlhalla x TMNT

Everybody’s favourite teenage turtles are invading Ubisoft’s Brawlhalla in a crossover nobody saw coming…or to be honest, asked for. The turtles are based off their latest Nickelodeon cartoon looks and will be hitting the game on June 16, just a few days from now!

New Trackmania Mode

Trackmania Royal seems like the game’s version of a Battle Royale. 20 teams enter, 4 teams eliminated per round until there’s only 1 team standing! The mode’s already available in the game right now, so you can test it out any time you want.

Watchdogs Legion: Bloodline Expansion Dated

Aiden Pierce (the hero from the original Watchdogs) and Wrench (one of the Dedsec hackers from Watchdogs 2) co-headline the expansion that’s heading to Watchdogs Legion July 6th. The expansion’s set prior to the events of Legion (but still in London) and will also allow Season Pass holders to add Aiden and Wrench to their team in the main game. If you don’t have the Season Pass, the expansion will cost you SG$19.90.

Far Cry 6 Season Pass Content Reveal

We all know there was going to be a Season Pass for Far Cry 6, now we know what it’ll contain! It’ll let you to play as previous Far Cry villains, a digital copy of Far Cry Blood Dragon Classic (no word if it’s a remaster or simply the original game via backwards compatibility) and Blood Dragon gear for use in the main game. The Season Pass will be included in the Gold and Ultimate editions of the game

Rocksmith+ Subscription Service

It’s a new subscription service that teaches you how to play guitar (acoustic, electric and bass). Coming Fall 2021 to the new consoles, with it compatible with the old Rocksmith Real Tone Cable.

Just Dance 2022 Launch Details

40 new songs included in the game, with 700 more available in Just Dance Unlimited (the subscription service for the series). Purchase of Just Dance 2022 gets a free month of Just Dance Unlimited. The game will release on November 4, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch, the Playstation 4 and 5 and the Xbox One and Series consoles.

Rainbow Six Extraction Launch Details

The coop shooter set in the Rainbow Six universe will launch on September 16 for the PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles. It looks to be a the Rainbow Six take on games like Left 4 Dead, World War Z and Back 4 Blood, expect with gameplay elements from Rainbow Six Siege.

Rainbow Six Siege Is Getting CrossPlay, Cross-Progression and New Season Called North Star

Ubisoft’s not forgetting its other Rainbow Six title. It’ll be bringing crossplay and cross-progression to the game for the PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles early 2022. The game will also be getting a new Season, alongside a new Operator name Thunderbird. She will be playable for Premium Battle Pass owners from tomorrow, and purchasable to regular players from June 28.

Riders Republic Announced

It’s open world, and it’s geared towards extreme sports fans. You get to ride bikes, ski, snowboard, wingsuit (and ROCKET wingsuit) across the huge world, doing tricks, finding landmarks and competing against other players in various game modes. Riders Republic comes to the PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles this September 2.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Announced

Mario and company reunite with the Rabbids. Launching in 2022, the game promises to feature a mix of turn-based tactics combined with real-time action…so pretty similar to the first one I guess. Not much is known about the game other than Mario and the gang will be visiting multiple planets and going up against new baddie, Cursa. If you haven’t guessed by now, the game’s exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Two Content and Discovery Tour Announced

New content is coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the form of the Siege of Paris DLC and the Discovery Tour: Viking Age add-on. The Siege of Paris is free to Season Pass owners (it costs SG$32.90 otherwise), while the Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be free for all owners of the game. It also comes standalone at SG$26.90. The DLC will be coming in Summer 2021, which the Discovery Tour doesn’t have a release date yet.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Announced

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the E3 2021: Ubisoft lineup. Play as a blue cat person (or a Na’vi if you’re being picky) and journey across the never seen before Western Frontier, in this open world first person action adventure. It’s pretty light on details so expect to know more in the leadup to the game’s 2022 release date. It’s coming to the PC and new generation consoles…so the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series and maybe the rumored upgraded Nintendo Switch.
