Ever since Marvel Studios brought in JK Simmons to reprise his role as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Far From Home, fans have been losing their minds over what this meant for the future.

And after the rumours of Jamie Foxx returning as Electro circulated online a few months, the idea that Marvel might be planning for some sort of Spider-Verse movie seemed more and more plausible.

Well, now we pretty much have confirmation that that’s where Marvel Studios is going with Tom Holland’s upcoming Spider-Man 3!

Doc Ock is back!

According to a report by Collider, an impressive list of casting has been confirmed for the upcoming movie. Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Kirsten Dunst’s Mary Jane, Andrew Garfield, possibly as another Spider-Man, and even Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus will return, and that’s not a rumour!

As for the original Spider-Man of the big screens, Tobey Maguire, his role has not been confirmed yet; although he’s reportedly in talks with Marvel Studios. And I speak for all the fans of Raimi Trilogy when I say; I hope he takes the deal.

There have been no news if Emma Stone will reprise her role as Gwen Stacy, but there’s a high possibility that she might be included; given that her character is technically Spider-Gwen in other timelines.

Will Marvel Studios introduce Miles Morales?

Will all that said and done, my biggest question is whether Marvel Studios is going to be bringing in Miles Morales into the action? We already know that he exists in the MCU from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Popularity for Miles as a character has shot up significantly thanks to the animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And with the release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales game, it’s a no brainer to build upon that momentum by introducing the character to the big screens.

Hopefully, we get to see him soon.
