Earlier today, Sony revealed the launch date of its PlayStation 5 console to be on November 12 for selected countries and November 19 for most of the world.

Pricing and Specifications.

The PlayStation 5 console will officially launch on November 19 for Singapore, and the pre-orders will start from tomorrow, September 18. So get ready to make your purchase!

The PS5 console will be available in two Editions.

The Digital Edition will be sold at SGD $599 RRP. Whereas, the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be made available at the price of SGD $729 RRP. 

Apart from the disc drive, both editions of the console will utilize the same custom processors and high-speed SSD hardware to deliver a balanced game play experience, no matter which console you choose.

Accessories for the PlayStation 5 will also launch on the same day, and the pricing is as follows :

  • DualSense™ Wireless Controller (standalone) – SGD $99.90
  • PULSE 3D™ wireless headset with 3D audio support and dual noise-cancelling microphones – SGD $149
  • HD Camera with dual 1080p lenses – SGD $89.90 
  • Media Remote to navigate movies and streaming services with comfort – SGD $44.90
  • DualSense™ Charging Station that allows you charge two DualSense Wireless Controllers – SGD $44.90

PlayStation 5 Pre-Orders.

Pre-Orders for the new console will start as early as tomorrow morning. You’ll be able to place your order at selected retailers through online or offline. So better free up your day if you want to be one of the first few people to get your hands on the PS5 before it runs out.
