It’s hit collaboration after hit collaboration for Uniqlo this year, what with it’s amazing line-up of collaborations with the likes of KAWS, Shounen Jump, BT21, Pokemon and maybe even Makoto Shinkai. Uniqlo’s not out of steam just yet – in fact, it seems like collaborations with big names will keep going, with the Uniqlo x Sailor Moon collection being announced!

According to SoraNews24, this collaboration is a commemorative one. The collection is launching in conjunction with the announcement that Naoto Takeuchi’s classic manga will be available in digital format for the first time!

While it’s only been confirmed that the Sailor Moon collection will launch in Japan, there’s an additional tip-off: it’ll be released in 26 countries in total. Seeing as how Uniqlo is fairly popular in Singapore, it’s likely that Singapore will be one of them.

The shirts in the collection come in 7 gorgeous designs, all of which pay homage to the original manga. Each shirt will retail at 1,500 yen (which will likely be priced at $19.90 in Singapore), and will run in sizes from S to XXL. We assume most, if not all, of the shirts will be in Women’s cutting, seeing as how the collection seems more geared towards women.

It’s not Sailor Moon if you don’t pay homage to the Sailor Senshis! Here’s a design that features the team:

Last but not least, here are the designs featuring English text, in what is likely to be a nod to Sailor Moon’s international popularity:

With designs like these, fans of the classic series surely have tons to look forward to. The Sailor Moon collection will launch in mid – late August 2019. Fingers crossed for a Singapore launch announcement!
