Want to play Bandai Namco‘s Elden Ring before it launches early next year? You’re in luck because the company’s just announced that the Elden Ring Closed Network Test will be taking place in November!

They’ve even released a trailer just for this occasion! Talk about hardcore!

You don’t even need to preorder to get a chance to test it out!

All you need to do is head on over to the Elden Ring Closed Network Test website, login with your Bandai Namco ID and choose your platform of choice. Whether you’re on the Playstation 4 or Playstation 5 or you game on the Xbox One or the Xbox Series S|X consoles, the Elden Ring Closed Network Test will need testers for all platforms.

Nintendo Switch and PC gamers are out of luck though…the game’s not planned for either at this time.

From what we gather, this version of Elden Ring will offer up the early hours of the game for chosen players to explore.

The network test will run from November 12 – 15, at selected times.

Elden Ring Closed Network Test

One thing to note! As with all beta tests (or rather Closed Network Test in this case), the game isn’t representative of what will be coming in February 2022. Bugs, crashes and other weird stuff’s to be expected, so don’t kick up a storm on Reddit or whatever message board because the game’s not polished. It will be for the launch edition, this one won’t. It’ll be playable…but probably not much else.

If you’ve been living under a rock these past few months, the game’s a collaboration between From Software and George R.R. Martin. It’s a hardcore fantasy action adventure in the vein of Dark Souls but with Martin’s expertise in lore and world design.

Needless to say, it looks damn cool and something I can’t wait to play next year!
