The holidays are upon us, and that means it’s the perfect time to let yourself off the hook for spending too much! And what better place to spend it on other than Steam, to grow your collection of games?

The Steam Winter Sale is officially in full swing until the January 5, so you’d best check it out as soon as possible. As usual, the sale has a large variety of games at discounted prices, and we are going to look at our top picks of the crop.

Best of Steam Winter Sale.

First up on the list is The Witcher franchise that comes with all three games and it’s DLCs for just S$24 in total. If you’re still reeling from the disappointment of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and in need of a little pick me up to satiate your hunger for a beefy RPG, then why not give The Witcher games a chance? This deal works best for those who have yet to dive into the franchise.

Next up is Control Ultimate Edition that costs S$28 after a 50 per cent discount, which honestly is a steal. Sure, Remedy Entertainment, the developers of the game, had made some questionable decisions recently. However, everyone agrees to a certain point that the game does hold itself rather well. So, if you have been waiting to give it a shot, then now is the perfect opportunity.

Last up on our list is the Halo: The Master Chief Collection which should be a top priority if you don’t already own it. With just S$30, you can own a total of six games from the franchise. It’s also a great way to get into the series if you missed out on it by not owning an Xbox console previously.

These are just a few of the Steam games that are obtainable at discounted prices during the sale, and there are a lot more available! It’s probably best to check it out by yourself, to see if anything piques your interest.
