Sergiy Grygorovych, Head of SGC Game World, has recently announced via a facebook post of all things, that things seem to be on track following the initial announcement last year. This is, of course, great news for people who are clamouring to return back into the zone in some form.

While the release date isn’t specifically mentioned, Sergiy did promise fans that it would be out by 2021. Judging by a standard 3-4 year developmental cycle, they seem to be on track for this target.

Basically, the gist from google translate tells me that they have transitioned into a full developmental period and are now actively working on the game development-wise. Sergiy also wanted to thank the community for their support.

If you head over onto the official website of the game, you’ll see that there is now a high-res wallpaper and soundtrack for you to download which is nice to see for the fans of the series.

While they did not mention any kind of new teaser or media for the game, expect something coming from them via an EU regional event like Gamescom as we are just some months away from that, judging by the timing of this announcement.
