Just today, Samsung announced two new additions to the Galaxy A line-up of devices – the Galaxy A20 and A70. These models will soon be on sale in Singapore! Providing enhanced everyday features to consumers at an affordable retail price, these new devices each deliver a holistic smartphone experience for users.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 enables its users to take stunning pictures with its versatile triple-rear camera, complemented by its Main, Depth and Ultra-Wide (123-degree) lenses. That’s not all, either! The A70’s Scene Optimizer function uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accentuate and balance colours in image backgrounds. This allows users to produce professional and high-quality pictures, ready to be shared with their family and friends.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 doesn’t lose out on this end, either. The A20 has a secondary camera with an Ultra-Wide Angle lens that allows users to capture everything they see within a photo.
Not only are you able to take gorgeous pictures, you’ll also be able to enjoy them in extra high definition! With the 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display on the Galaxy A70 and the 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V Display on the Galaxy A20, users will also be able to enjoy the ultimate immersive cinematic experience when watching videos during their leisure time.
Worried about how all these might drain your phone of battery? No problem! Boasting a 4,500mAh battery on the Galaxy A70 and a 4,000mAh battery on the Galaxy A20, both phones are equipped with fast charging capability. Users are offered with the freedom and versatility to do more of what they love with long-lasting usage.
What’s more, the Galaxy A70 (128GB) and
A20 (32GB) both support microSD cards. This gives users the option of expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB. You’ll never have to worry about running out of storage space for all your favourite memories!
On top of all that, the Galaxy A70 is equipped with an on-screen fingerprint sensor, while the Galaxy A20 comes with a rear fingerprint sensor. These functions provide users with secure and convenient authentication options to seamlessly unlock their devices.
Local Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy A70 will be available from 18 May 2019 onwards. It will be sold at selected local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics and IT stores, authorised mobile retailers, Samsung Experience Stores, and even on Lazada.sg! It will likely be retailing at $498, and will have black, white and blue as its available model colours.
The Galaxy A20 will be made available at a later date, from 1 June 2019, at Singtel and M1. It is estimated to retail at $248, with black as its only available model colour.
