Bethesda’s banking heavily on Rage 2 doing well. After Fallout 76’s disastrous launch (and still disastrous reception), the company needs a win to shore up fan support.
Like it or not, that win HAS to come from Rage 2, since Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein New Blood are still months from release.
While rumblings have been positive, we’re not going to comment on how good or bad the game is until we’ve played it. Still, we’re heartened to see that it’ll have at least some decent post-launch support.
Looking at Bethesda’s roadmap, it seems as if Bethesda’s pumping out regular content for Rage 2, at least for the next few months.
Here, take a look.

A world event, challenges and new weapon skins are all on the cards for this month alone. The roadmap continues that way for nearly every month (which is awesome if Bethesda can maintain the pace) right up until August, which is when the first expansion comes out.
Then plans get a little murky, with only a vague Fall release date.
What’s surprising is that there’s another expansion planned other than Rise of the Ghosts, which is bundled in with the Rage 2 Deluxe Edition.
We’d figured there’d be only one expansion planned, or else there’d be a Season Pass of some sort. Turns out we’re wrong. If you’re like us, you’d probably be wondering how much Expansion #2’s going to go for but sadly, Bethesda’s not ready to answer that yet it seems.

Either way, Rage 2 will be coming out tomorrow, May 13, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We’ll have a review of it up as soon as we can! Stay tuned!
