Sentosa’s having a fiesta (or FunFest in this case) and you’re all invited. it begins on the Mar 16 and lasts all the way to Mar 24 and is hyped to be full of fun and games for the whole family.

The main draw for the FunFest are the Sanrio characters, with Hello Kitty, Gudetama and My Melody making appearances.

Fun in the sun for the kids!

Sentosa’s also filling up parts of the island with inflatables, so visitors can fool around with them and take pictures. There’s even going to be Gudetama inflatables at Palawan Beach, with the main attraction being a huge 3 meter tall egg yolk just lounging around on the beach. Probably needs to tan up for beach season.

Fans of My Melody will find the rabbit hanging around the beach too. She’s stationed at various photo ops around the location, so you’ll probably see her if you just walk around.

Stay around till the evening and you can even catch a free movie. There’ll be daily movie screenings at 7.30PM. Here’s the full list if you’re interested:

Take your pick!

Admissions to the island will be free for the duration of FunFest, via entries through Sentosa Express or Sentosa Gateway (for those driving in). Here’s the full lowdown, direct from the official site.

Better cancel that tour bus you were planning on chartering.
