Not one to be outdone by the promise of sandy beaches and Sanrio characters, Jurong Bird Park’s having its own carnival in the hopes of drawing in the crowds during the March School Holidays.

From Mar 16 – 24, the Jurong Bird Park will be having its own promotional event; the Feathered Friends Carnival. There won’t be any Hello Kitties or giant eggs, but the attraction promises a ton of different activities for the kids to enjoy.

We’re down for the animal rides!

These range from a host of carnival rides like the Tea Cup Carousel to the Pelican Paddle and our personal favourite, the aptly titled Animal Rides. Yeah, we’re suckers for riding on animals, real or fake.

But what’s a carnival without games, you ask? No worries, Jurong Bird Park has you covered on that front too! Behold the Game Booths!

Are those Tiggers we see? We want!

From Roll-a-Ball (where you roll a ball, we guess) to Ring Toss to Can-Knock, never have there been Carnival games that more aptly described what you’re supposed to do!

If games and rides aren’t your cup of tea, there are also opportunities to meet some feathered friends, such as a Harris’ Hawk and Sally the Hornbill. These only occur on the weekends (Mar 16, 17, 23 and 24) so plan accordingly.

For more information on the carnival, hit up their official website. We’ll be heading down just for the animal rides.
