Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse brings the legendary franchise back with flexible combat, clever exploration and plenty of fan service. But while Evil Empire understands what makes Castlevania tick, missing features, a less distinctive art style and inconsistent frame rates keep it from reaching Symphony of the Night’s lofty heights.
