Samsung is kicking off 2026 with a tightly integrated flagship ecosystem in Singapore, pairing its new Galaxy S26 Series AI phones with the Galaxy Buds4 Series to create a seamless, always-on, AI‑powered mobile experience.

Galaxy S26 Series: AI phone as daily companion.

Samsung positions the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra as its third‑generation “AI Phones”, designed to quietly handle complex tasks in the background so users can focus on outcomes instead of menus and settings. Across the range, a customised chipset is tuned for AI performance, power efficiency and thermal management, delivering smoother multitasking and consistently fast response.

On the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy boosts CPU performance by up to 19%, NPU performance by 39% and GPU performance by 24% versus the previous Ultra, enabling richer visuals, more fluid gameplay and always‑on AI features without lag. A redesigned vapor chamber spreads heat more efficiently around the processor, while Super‑Fast Charging 3.0 can take the 5,000 mAh battery to around 75% in about 30 minutes, supporting heavy all‑day use.

Camera, creation and privacy on S26 Ultra.

Samsung’s most advanced camera system yet underpins the S26 Series, with S26 Ultra using wider apertures on its 200 MP wide and 50 MP telephoto cameras to let significantly more light reach the sensor for clearer, more detailed low‑light shots, even when zoomed. Enhanced Nightography Video and upgraded Super Steady with a new horizontal lock keep low‑light and action footage clearer and more stable, while support for the new APV pro‑grade codec delivers visually lossless video even after repeated edits.

AI‑powered editing is built directly into the gallery through an upgraded Photo Assist suite that lets users describe edits in natural language, from turning day into night to restoring missing object details or even cleaning up outfits in photos. Creative Studio adds a unified canvas for turning sketches, photos or prompts into polished stickers, wallpapers and invitations, while tools like Document Scan automatically clean up scans and assemble multiple images into a single PDF for faster everyday workflows.

On privacy, S26 Ultra debuts an integrated Privacy Display that controls how pixels disperse light so content remains clear for the user but harder to view from side angles in everyday environments like cafés or public transport. Users can define when this activates, from PIN entry to specific apps, and choose between partial notification privacy and maximum side‑view blocking, all with minimal impact on usability and power.

Galaxy AI: proactive, multi‑agent intelligence.

Galaxy AI on the S26 Series is framed as intuitive, proactive and adaptive, surfacing help at the right moment instead of requiring users to dig through settings. Now Nudge can, for example, suggest relevant photos from the Gallery when friends request trip pictures, or flag potential Calendar clashes when messages mention meetings, keeping users in the flow.

Now Brief becomes a more personalised feed of timely reminders for reservations, trips and other key events, pulling context from notifications, messages and services (subject to user permissions). Circle to Search with Google is upgraded to recognise multiple objects in a scene, so users can query an entire outfit at once – from jacket to shoes – directly from whatever is on screen.

Bixby is refreshed as a more conversational device agent that accepts natural language to navigate the phone and adjust settings, no rigid commands required. At the same time, Samsung is leaning into a multi‑agent future: the S26 Series integrates agents like Google Gemini and Perplexity, allowing users to trigger complex, multi‑step tasks – such as booking a taxi – with a single voice prompt and a quick confirmation.

Security built for the AI era.

Recognising that more personal, context‑rich AI raises the stakes for security, the S26 Series layers protections from silicon to software. AI‑powered Call Screening identifies unknown callers and summarises their intent before users decide whether to pick up, while Privacy Alerts use on‑device machine learning to flag apps that unnecessarily attempt to access sensitive data such as precise location, call logs or contacts.

A new Private Album in the Gallery lets users hide chosen photos and videos without needing separate apps or accounts, and Samsung expands its post‑quantum cryptography work to secure critical processes like software verification and firmware protection. Knox Matrix introduces PQC‑enabled end‑to‑end encryption for direct transfers like eSIM migrations and offers clearer visibility of firmware update status across devices, all backed by seven years of security updates to keep protections current.

Galaxy Buds4 Series: audio and AI in sync.

Launching alongside the Galaxy S26 Series in Singapore, the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro are pitched as the natural audio companions, combining hi‑fi sound, computational design and deeper AI integration. Samsung analysed hundreds of millions of ear data points and ran more than 10,000 simulations to arrive at a new “Buds blade” identity, delivering smaller, more ergonomic earbuds with a stabilised blade, premium metal finish and engraved pinch control area for confident all‑day wear.

The Buds4 Pro adopt a canal‑fit design for maximum isolation and functionality, while the open‑fit Buds4 prioritise easy, comfortable listening; both come in matte Black and White, with an online‑exclusive Pink Gold option for Buds4 Pro. Inside, Buds4 Pro introduces a wider woofer that expands effective speaker area by about 19.8% versus the previous generation, pairing with a tweeter to deliver immersive 24‑bit/96 kHz hi‑fi audio with cleaner bass and richer treble.

Software‑side, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive EQ/ANC continuously analyse fit and ear shape, applying optimal algorithms in real time to cut engine rumbles or background chatter while keeping sound balanced. Super Clear Call uses super‑wideband voice transmission and machine‑learning‑based noise reduction to double traditional Bluetooth call bandwidth and keep voices crisp, even in noisy environments like stadiums or busy restaurants.

For Galaxy users, the Buds4 Series ties directly into the broader AI ecosystem: users can summon agents such as Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity via hands‑free voice controls, and Buds4 Pro adds Head Gesture controls for managing calls and agent interactions without lifting a finger. Fast pairing from a simple case‑open action, plus shortcut menus and Quick Panel controls for EQ and volume, make setup and daily use more frictionless across phones and tablets.

Availability and colours in Singapore.

In Singapore, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+ and S26 will be available for pre‑order from 26 February 2026, 2AM SGT, with general availability starting 11 March 2026. The series shares a unified design language and common colourways of Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue, complemented by online‑exclusive Pink Gold and Silver Shadow finishes on Samsung.com.

The Galaxy Buds4 Series follows the same launch timeline, with pre‑orders opening on 26 February 2026 at 2AM SGT and general sales beginning 11 March 2026. Buds4 and Buds4 Pro are offered in matte Black and White, with Buds4 Pro adding an online‑exclusive Pink Gold, giving Galaxy S26 owners coordinated audio hardware that matches the phone’s aesthetic and AI‑driven experiences.
