While The Witcher franchise is still relatively unknown, Geralt is arguably more famous now than he was just a few years ago. With Gwent, a Netflix series and anime and now this manga, The Witcher series has slowly but surely transformed from a relatively niche property to one that’s slowly burgeoning. With The Witcher: Ronin, Geralt is doing what he does best again; hunting down monsters.
Set apart from the main canon, The Witcher: Ronin is a ‘What If’ story that has the famous monster hunter journey to Japan-inspired lands to hunt down the infamous Lady of Snow, Yuki Onna.

On Kickstarter right now, the manga is planned to be 100 pages, with 55 extra pages also added on to the Kickstarter version of The Witcher: Ronin. These pages will contain extra short stories, as well as a short ‘Making Of’ section that’ll delve into the efforts of creating this unique work.
While the cool limited hand-drawn rewards are already gone, if you’re interested in the hardcover manga, you can still get nab the normal editions (along with the Kickstarter exclusive rewards and add-ons) from the Kickstarter page.
I’ll be honest though, at around SG$56 (without shipping) for the most basic tier, this is a pretty expensive book.
For fans of The Witcher though, it should be a no-brainer purchase, especially if they want to see Geralt in a new setting. If you love Geralt and want to see more of him, you’d better get to backing The Witcher: Ronin before its Kickstarter ends September 27.
