2020 was a year filled with struggles after struggles getting shoved down our throats so that we’ll never forget them like a bad breakup. And in our hour of desperate need, Netflix became the unlikely hero that preserved most of our sanity last year. This year, they are going the extra mile to ensure that everyone forgets about all those crappy moments.

Netflix Film Club has released an official preview trailer, unveiling a sneak peek into the movies coming out in 2021. For the entire year, a new film will get added to the roster every week, effectively bringing the number of movies to seventy.

To accomplish this impressive feat, Netflix is going all-in by rummaging deeper into its secret vault to dish out new content for us. These films will feature a wide range of popular actors such as Gal Gadot, Chris Hemsworth, Jason Momoa, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, Leonardo DiCaprio and so much more!

The main highlight of the trailer is the reveal of the action-comedy film called Red Notice. In the 2019 Hobbs & Shaw, we were introduced to the impressive chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and The Rock, albeit for a short period. And it seems that Netflix has taken note of that interest and is bringing them back together for a full feature film called Red Notice.

If that wasn’t already spectacular enough, they are also adding the beautiful Gal Gadot into the mix of things. Now that’s a movie that I’d gladly take the time out of my schedule to sit down and enjoy it thoroughly.

With Disney+ gaining popularity over the masses with their upcoming MCU and Star Wars programs, I was curious to see how Netflix would turn things around. And now we know that Netflix is here to stay and isn’t going anywhere.
