Why get a regular console when you can get yourself a solid Gold PlayStation 5?

Legends say that the Console Wars have been going on forever and there has never been a clear winner. In the last war, the consoles competed with different sizes like slim versions, unique colour schemes and better performance.

In the current war, as of yesterday, Microsoft revealed their Xbox Series S and the ‘S’ in this scenario certainly does not mean Hope. Apologies if you didn’t get the obscure Man of Steel reference, I’m a DC fanboy.

Everyone expected that Sony might retaliate by revealing the pricing and pre-order details for their upcoming console; instead, we got reminded of how Rich some people can honestly be.

The Gold PlayStation is no joke.

Enter Truly Exquisite’s 24K Gold PlayStation 5!

And don’t be mistaken, that’s not a colour scheme; that is a PlayStation 5 with actual gold plating.

Truly Exquisite is a third-party UK retailer that excels in making custom finishes on a wide variety of products such as watches, phones and even sneakers. The PlayStation 5 is their latest venture, and it will also be available in 24K Platinum, and 18K Rose Gold finishes.

And to no one’s surprise, the pricing for these consoles is beyond anything I could have imagined. The most expensive item on the list, the Platinum Disc PS5, costs £8299 which is a massive S$14.7K dollar!

As for the least expensive item on the list, the PS5 Headset costs £399 which roughly is S$700 dollars. Even if I could afford it, there’s no way my conscience will allow me to make that purchase.

If you can (and want to), pre-orders for this magnificent limited edition console will be opening up on Thursday, September 10. You’re going to want to hurry though…only 250 units will be available.

Now for those of you who are rich enough, willing and quite sure about making a purchase; then click here to visit the official page to keep an out for when the pre-orders go up.

For the rest of us, let’s just wait for the standard PlayStation 5 and enjoy our simplicity, yay?
