Where is ‘The Boys’ season 2?

Last Friday, September 4th was a day that I had been waiting for quite some time. And no, it wasn’t for the release of Marvel’s Avengers (early access covered that urge). It was for the release of The Boys Season 2, the gore-filled humans killing superheroes and superheroes killing humans mostly, tv show!

If you don’t understand my excitement for the show; then you should watch the first season of The Boys. The short version of the show is that it’s about superheroes who aren’t your typical good guys and a group of humans trying to take them out. It’s hilarious, bloody, and an eye-opener to see absolute power corrupting absolutely.

Now, that you’ve gotten a glimpse into my excitement for the show; imagine it disappearing.

Time to wait longer for ‘The Boys’.

When I accessed Amazon Prime Video to watch the show, my disappointment rose when I was greeted by this, “This video is currently unavailable to watch in your location.”

I know what you’re thinking, that it’s quite typical for foreign shows to face delays in certain regions. And yes, I agree for the most part. However, this particular The Boys is an Amazon Original, which means that there should be no reason for a delay.

Netflix is a great example. They have their own Netflix Originals as well, but it’s not restricted to any region, and everyone gets to access it on the release day. So why can’t Amazon Prime Video do the same for its consumers worldwide?

The fact that I’m paying for the service and still can’t access all of the available content is a real annoyance. And when it comes down to restrictions based on regions, there is never a fixed date. For the most part, it usually takes two to three months of waiting before it gets released.

In the meantime, there are only two options left. You either wait it out patiently or find some other way to watch the show.
