Color me surprised.
Direct from Japan, it seems like Square Enix’s mobile Final Fantasy spin-off, Brave Exvius is getting its own live action musical set to debut in March next year.
FFBE The Musical even has its own website all up and running in case you can’t wait to find out more about the event.
Personally, I didn’t find Brave Exvius’ music as great as the main series’. There wasn’t anything remotely stellar like Dancing Mad, One Winged Angel, Love Grows or even To Zanarkand.
But hey…maybe it’s just me.
If you need some refreshing on the game’s tunes, here’s a handy Youtube playlist with the game’s score.
The musical’s being directed by Fumiya Matsuzaki, who also did the screenplay and directing for “Super DanganRonpa 2: THE STAGE” and “Mobile Suit Gundam 00 – Regeneration by Destruction”.
The musical will play in two cities; Tokyo and Kobe. The Tokyo performances will be performed at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater from March 6 to March 15, 2020, while the Kobe performances will be performed from March 20 to 29 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe.
I wasn’t able to find anything on ticket pricing, so you might want to start saving up just in case!
