Last week, Canon announced their latest range of all-in-one printers, the PIXMA TS8370, TS6370 and TS5370. They’re available in various colours for you to choose from and find one that fits perfectly in your home.

Not only are the printers made for aesthetic pleasure, they’re also packed with new features best for connectivity and productivity. Each printer has its own set of features specific to a type of user.

PIXMA TS8370

The TS8370 is a 6-ink photo printer available in red, white and black. It uses Photo Blue ink that reduces graininess in bright-coloured prints. It also has a 4.3-inch touch-screen LCD display and a two-way paper feeding. You can also print custom-designed nail stickers with its multi-purpose tray.

PIXMA TS6370

Available in navy blue, the TS6370 has a high contrast 1.44-inch OLED display with an ergonomically inclined control panel on the side of the printer. It also allows you to know its status like when it’s out of ink or a printing is in progress by lighting up the smart LED Status Bar on its front lip.

If you need help with its key features, you can press the ‘QR’ button next to the OLED display where a QR code will appear. Use your mobile device to scan it for access to a user guide of the printer.

Connectivity

All three printers can be connected for easier printing. You can start printing and scanning jobs straight from your smartphone by connecting to the printer via the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY mobile app. Oh, your printer’s not set up? No worries, do it over a working Wi-Fi!

You can even connect your smartphone with the printer without a wireless router by pressing the Wireless Connect. This helps when your Wi-Fi connection gets lost during a printing job.

Canon Creative Park mobile app

Now that you know how to connect your smartphone to the Canon printer, you can soon get even more creative when the new redesigned Canon Creative Park mobile app drops. It’s set to be released sometime soon.

Currently, it’s only available on the desktop-version website where you can access hundreds of greeting cards, 3D paper crafts, calendars and scrapbooking kits. It’s for children and adults alike. They also have themed content suitable for occasions like Halloween.

Make custom designs

If you love crafting with your hands, try making personalised designs on items like cotton t-shirts, bags and wallets. With the PIXMA TS series, you can print your custom designs with the new iron-on transfer papers. They are designed for both light-coloured fabrics and dark fabrics.

Want to make your own greeting cards? Get the new double-sided matte papers. They’re available in 12 x 12 inch and half-fold 7 x 10 inch sizes.

Both products will come out sometime later this year.

Message in Print mobile app

With the Message in Print app, you can embed secret messages like video or web links, animations or other info you want into photos. Then print them out.

To view your secret messages, simply hold your smartphone over the printed photo.

The app is available for iOS and Android phones.
