In partnership with Singapore’s Cybersports & Online Gaming Association, Campus GameFest is back in its 7th year at the Singapore Sports Hub. Dubbed as Singapore’s go-to internet party, the exciting festival will take place during the weekend of 3rd and 4th August 2019, from 10am to 9pm on both days. And also, entrance is free!
One of the many activities held at Campus GameFest is the esports competition, Campus Legends. The competition serves as a platform for students who are passionate about esports and a way to realise their dreams in the esports industry.
Through Campus Legends, interested students can also find their paths to a potential career in esports and hone relevant talents and skills in the field. The Campus Legends tournament will cover three games: League of Legends, Fifa19 and Gran Turismo Sports.

The Gran Turismo Sports race is open to all students from affiliated institutions. Participating racers will learn how to drive on the simulation racing and compete in an inter-campus battle against other racers from other campuses. Winners get cash and scholarship plus a chance to take part in upcoming competitions.
The prize pool breakdown (Gran Turismo Sports)
– $1,500 ($750 cash + $750 scholarship) for the Champion
– $1,000 ($500 cash + $500 scholarship) for the 1st Runner-up
– $500 ($250 cash + $250 scholarship) for the 2nd Runner-up
Registrations just closed though, but you can still witness all the Campus Legends competitions at Campus GameFest.

There are plenty of other Campus GameFest activities happening too, including meeting local celebrities like The Benzi Project, Fakkah Fuzz, The Lion City Boy, and even Nathan Hartono.
