Think you’ve got some smooth moves to pull off? If you enjoy dancing, and would like to win prizes in the process, we’ve got just the thing!

Tiktok, the world’s leading short video platform, is teaming up for the first time with Samsung to launch #slideandswivel, a dance challenge that aims to celebrate positive expression and creativity in Singapore’s culturally-diverse landscape.

From hip-hop, contemporary dance and break dancing, to disco, ballet or even tap dancing, flaunt your best moves while incorporating slides and swivels into an original dance routine!

Of course, you won’t be doing all that for nothing. Participants stand a chance to win a brand new Samsung A80 (128GB), along with some exclusive BLACKPINK merchandise worth up to S$188!

How can I take part?

Sounds exciting? Here’s all you need to do to take part:

  1. Create your dance cover on TikTok using the track ‘MVP’. Make sure you include the ‘slide’ and ‘swivel’ moves!
  2. Save your dance cover as a video.
  3. Share your video on TikTok as a public video.
  4. Hashtag #slideandswivel in your video’s caption to qualify!

In case you’re not sure about the moves you’ll need to incorporate into your dance cover, here’s are some demo videos with the moves that you’ll need to add:

If you’re planning on taking part, be quick! The #slideandswivel contest will end on 26 July, at 11.59PM. Each participant can only submit one entry (i.e one video), though only those aged 18 and above will be able to take part in this challenge. Five (5) winners will be contacted via Tiktok’s direct messages by 9th August, 2019.
