The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep created by InXile Entertainment was released last year. Though the dungeon crawler video game generally received positive ratings, it wasn’t without some technical issues that affected gameplay experience.
If you agree, well, here’s some good news for you! The game has been reworked and soon you can enjoy it when it comes out as The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut. The game’s digital release to PS4, Xbox One and PC is on 27 August 2019 whereas the physical release to PS4 and Xbox One is on 7 September 2019.

The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut comes complete with a new end-game chapter adding more hours of additional content and of course fixes and improvements made across the game. According to the IGN report, the release will also feature new enemies, items and weapons including the dwarven master-crafted ones, refined UI, more class and gender options to create your character, rebalanced combat and encounters, more difficulty settings and full gamepad support for PC and consoles. All of which make this release a more definitive version of The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep.
