Following Singapore’s biggest Pokemon Carnival in Sentosa, Pikachu and friends have now danced their way to Changi Jewel Airport. Pokemon fans and general visitors alike can enjoy watching the Pokemon Parade happening for the first time there.
With the picturesque HSBC Rain Vortex and Shiseido Forest Valley in the background, the Pokemon Parade of 8 Pikachu, 1 Eevee and 1 Mimkyu will be a delightful sight to behold. Watch the beloved characters as they march from the west corridor of Shiseido Forest Valley on the first floor to the North Canyon. It’s here where they’ll perform an adorable 4-minute dance before they exit through the retail corridors on the first level. The whole parade will last about 30 minutes.
Check out the video of the Pokemon Parade by the Channel News Asia team, and I dare you to tell me it’s not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

The event is in collaboration with Pokemon Centre Singapore, where you can shop for your favourite Pokemon merch. Just head up to the 4th storey at Jewel and marvel at the huge collection of toys and memorabilia of the popular franchise, including a whole section dedicated to plushies of all 151 Kanto Pokemon. Whatever found here is also being sold in the Pokemon Centre in Japan.

If you’re wondering what to do while waiting for the Pokemon Parade to start, you can enjoy the mall or play Pokemon Go! that’s just updated with new Shiny Alolan Pokemon a few days ago on the game’s 3rd anniversary. Who knows, you might encounter one of them like a Rattata, Geodude or Vulpix.
And if you’re lucky, you might stumble upon a Pikachu wearing a party hat when taking a GO Snapshot photo! Which you can catch, by the way. The update also includes more avatar items, raid bonuses and less Stardust costs for trading (yes!).

Pokemon GO! also announced July Community Day featuring the favourite of the month, Mudkip. Community Day will take place on 21 July between 4pm and 7pm (local time).
During this time, Mudkip will appear more frequently in the wild, lure modules will last all three hours, you get 3 times the catch XP, you may find a Shiny Mudkip and when you evolve Marshtomp, you’ll get a Swampert that knows a special move.
