Weirdly enough, I’ve never been a big fan of Stranger Things. I should be loving it, as it’s set in the 80s (I’m an 80s kid), having tons of callback to that era.

I mean, I’m intrigued by the premise but I don’t really like the kids being the stars of the show. I’d have preferred a more adult take on things, ala the X-Files or even Alan Wake.

Blasphemy, I know but that’s s the same reason I hated the Goonies.

That’s not to say I’m not excited about the new season of Stranger Things. The creatures from the ‘Upside Down’ are awesome and the premise of that dimension REALLY reminds me of Silent Hill.

In fact, watch the final trailer and see if you don’t get the same vibes.

I just hope there are lots more monsters this time around!
