At the time of writing, we are about 45 minutes away from another tech conference held by Microsoft. This time, Microsoft’s current CEO, Satya Nadella is going to hold a keynote presentation that is focused on Microsoft-powered technologies that is no doubt about cloud gaming and cloud in general.

Expect new technologies and initiatives to be revealed and also perhaps a glimpse/preview of the things to come within the Cloud space.

“More than 6,000 people from around the world are joining us May 6-8 in Seattle for Microsoft Build, our premier developer conference. This year’s event is focused on empowering developers of all kinds, from experienced computer scientists to tech beginners with big ideas.”

In brief from the newsroom, it seems that they will be going into detail about several upgrades/enhanced features for developer-centric tools that will be available in Microsoft Azure. There will also be talks about new capabilities and advancements from the Machine Learning front as Microsoft continues to push the technology forward.

On the server scene, a new “Azure SQL Database Edge” has been introduced to support edge computing needs; Satya Nadella should also be talking about a new blockchain interface named “Azure Blockchain Service” to give us some detail on that as well.

Chia is the horse-author from the far flung year of 2153. While not grazing on grass pastures or reviewing old time-y games and technology from the early 21st century pretending to not know what comes next (as to not disturb the space-time continuum), he can be seen exchanging vast quantities of Earth currency for parts needed to fix his damaged space ship.
