We’re just 4 days from the premiere of the final season of Game of Thrones! In commemoration, HBO Asia has commissioned SBTG, a Singaporean designer and home-grown label, to create four sneaker designs to pay homage to the series.

Taking on the job was a no-brainer for Mark Ong, the artist behind the SBTG label and an avid fan of the series, who was excited to know that he would be creating individual designs for different houses in the series. His love for the series shows through the intricate detailing with iconic Game of Thrones themes, combined with his signature military-inspired designs, onto the four pairs of sneakers.

Three of the designs are reminiscent of the Great Houses in the series – Lannister, Stark and Targaryen – through the use of colours, motifs and quotes from each House respectively.

The last design pays homage to the Night King and his White Walkers, through the use of icy blues and whites as part of its design.

That’s not all! These SBTG customised sneakers are embedded with Near-Field Communication (NFC) chips powered by VeChain, that will allow any potential collector to verify the authenticity of each pair. These chips also contain exclusive behind-the-scenes videos of the creation of each sneaker design, which can be played and viewed by anyone using the Vechain mobile app.

Though die-hard fans may want to shell out money for these custom-designed sneakers, unfortunately, they’re not for sale! Instead, they’ll be on display from 17-30 April at the Limited Edt Chamber store (#B2-112)  in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

That doesn’t mean that it’s entirely impossible to own them, though. Fans of the Emmy-winning fantasy hit-series and avid sneakerheads can stand a chance to win a pair of these limited edition sneakers through a contest here! Better hurry, though – the contest ends on 25th April, 2019.
