Books, books and MORE books!

MPH’s having a blowout sale this weekend at the Singapore Expo and everybody’s invited. We’ve been there just now and can honestly report that there are hundreds (if not more) books on offer.

This is just the left side. The right side of the hall is just as packed with tables filled with books!

The books are all priced reasonably low, with three different tiers.

If it’s USD$3.99 (or £ ) and below, it’s SGD$3. If it’s $4 -$10.99, it’ll be SGD$6. Anything above that, and it’s a flat pricing for $9.

Some REALLY good deals to be had!

During out jaunt through the isles, we managed to find some really notable (and surprising) titles! Have a look and see for yourselves.

Yup, tons of authors are represented from Tolkien (Beren and Luthien!), to Dan Brown (tons of copies of Inferno, weirdly nothing else from him), Terry Pratchett (I found that sole copy of The Long Cosmos) and of course, George R. R. Martin.

Martin’s books in particular, are especially prolific, with multiple Game of Thrones books in the piles. We saw A Feast of Crows, A Clash of Kings and A Dance with Dragons from the series, as well as a couple of copies of Nightflyers.

The best bargain we found?

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you NEED this.

A hardcover copy of ‘The Art of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’. It’s a great look into the production of the movie, featuring tons of insight and pre-production images. It’s 35£ normally but just SGD$9 at the sale. We couldn’t resist and had to buy one for ourselves!

Just in case you need directions.

So what are you waiting for? The book sale’s until Mar 17, and will be open from 9AM to 9PM. It’s at the Singapore Expo, Hall 4B.
