Singapore children’s technology brand myFirst has launched the Insta magiBox, an AI-powered sticker printer that turns spoken ideas into black-and-white illustrations for children to print, colour and decorate. Available locally from 14 October 2026, the device costs S$119 and comes in Aqua Blue and Blossom Pink.

Say it, print it, colour it.

The Insta magiBox lets children create illustrations by describing what they want rather than typing a prompt or drawing it themselves. A request such as “an octopus wearing a sailor’s hat” becomes artwork through its Voice-to-Image feature, with the result appearing on the device’s 2.8-inch screen before it prints automatically.

Once printed, the illustration becomes a hands-on craft activity. Children can colour it, add their own details or words, and use the stickers to decorate notebooks, cards and other projects. There are six built-in art styles to choose from, while a separate Voice-to-Story feature turns a spoken idea into an illustrated story across four scenes.

“AI can provide a starting point, but we want children to decide what happens next,” said G-Jay Yong, founder and CEO of myFirst. “A printed picture gives them something they can change, colour and make their own.”

Built-in prompt filters and multilingual support.

According to myFirst, the Insta magiBox uses a combination of AI models, including Gemini and models from OpenAI, to generate illustrations and stories. The company has also developed child-focused safety filters that check prompts before content is generated. Requests that fail those checks are blocked, with the device displaying “Oops! Try another idea”. These are manufacturer-described safeguards rather than an independently verified guarantee of content safety.

Voice recognition supports 26 languages and language varieties, including English, Mandarin, Malay, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino. This allows children to describe their ideas in a supported language without first translating them into English.

Wi-Fi connectivity and up to 120 prints per charge.

Initial setup takes place through the myFirst Circle app. After that, the Insta magiBox can generate images and stories over Wi-Fi without a connected phone. Parents can use the app’s History feature to view, save and reprint previously generated artwork.

myFirst says the printer takes 30 seconds to print an illustration once the artwork has been generated, and supports up to 120 Voice-to-Image prints on a full charge. Its official sticker rolls are BPA-free and BPS-free, with each roll providing roughly 50 images.
