The vivo V80 Lite 5G has launched in Singapore, pairing a 10,000mAh-class battery with rugged protection, a large OLED display and productivity-focused AI features. The phone starts at S$499 and will be available from 26 September 2026.
A 10,000mAh typical-capacity battery is the headline feature, designed for users who rely heavily on navigation, calls, work apps, entertainment and gaming throughout the day. The rated battery capacity is 9,800mAh.
The device was also used in a Guinness World Records-certified battery endurance test, achieving 32 hours and 37 minutes in the longest electronic-product testing livestream category.
Built for long days.

The V80 Lite 5G uses fourth-generation silicon-anode technology and Magic Cube Battery Packaging to accommodate its high-capacity battery in a relatively slim chassis. Reverse charging is included, allowing the phone to charge accessories such as wireless earbuds when needed.
Battery Life Extender keeps essential functions, including emergency calling, available when the phone reaches 1% charge. A Super Battery Saver mode is also available at low battery levels.
The battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,400 charge cycles, which is roughly equivalent to seven years under vivo’s laboratory usage assumptions.
Rugged features.
The phone carries IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings, with a claimed ability to withstand immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes under controlled test conditions.
It has also passed selected MIL-STD-810H durability tests and is claimed to remain operational after a controlled three-metre drop onto carpet. Other testing cited includes simulated heavy rain, washing-machine cycles, exposure to common liquids and 2,500 scratch cycles.
Water and drop resistance are not permanent and may deteriorate with regular wear. Damage from drops or liquid ingress is typically not covered under warranty.
Display and cameras.

The V80 Lite 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio and up to 2,000 nits of high-brightness-mode peak brightness. Dual stereo speakers and a vapour-chamber cooling system aim to improve video, gaming and outdoor use.
It will be sold in Afterglow Pink, Dawn Black and Emerald Green.
For photography, the phone includes a 50MP Sony main camera and a 32MP wide-angle front camera with a 90-degree field of view after distortion correction. AI Erase can remove unwanted objects or people from photos, while Check-in Watermark automatically adds time and location details to images.
AI productivity tools
The V80 Lite 5G includes Smart Call Assistant for real-time transcription, translation and call summaries. AI Transcript Assist turns recordings from meetings or lectures into organised, searchable text.
Other features include vivo Office Kit for cross-device file transfer and task handoffs, Private Space for securing sensitive content, One-Tap Transfer with compatible iPhones, and Shake & Share for sending photos to a group of nearby users.
