Singapore, 26 May 2026 – Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, today unveiled an expanded, full‑stack agentic AI ecosystem for international customers at its inaugural International Qwen Conference in Singapore. The new releases span model upgrades, AI infrastructure enhancements, an AI‑native cloud platform and enterprise‑grade agent products, underscoring Alibaba Cloud’s commitment to accelerating global adoption of agentic AI.
Qwen3.7‑Max: foundation model for AI agents.

Alibaba Cloud introduced Qwen3.7‑Max, its latest large language model, now available via Model Studio in the Singapore region. In Artificial Analysis’s Global LLM Intelligence Index, Qwen3.7‑Max ranks fifth worldwide and first among Chinese models with a score of 56.6, outperforming peers such as Kimi‑K2.6, DeepSeek‑v4‑Pro‑Max and GLM5.1 while remaining competitive with leading international models.
“The agentic era represents a paradigm shift in how we interact with technology,” said Dr. Feifei Li, Chief Technology Officer and President of International Business, Alibaba Cloud. “By building a comprehensive, full‑stack AI ecosystem, we are providing not only powerful models, but also AI‑native tools and cloud infrastructure that help customers embed AI into every part of their operations.”
Agentic cloud: skills, tools and infrastructure.
To help AI agents work more naturally with cloud resources, Alibaba Cloud launched a new Skills portal that converts common capabilities from over 60 cloud products into Skill‑based and MCP‑compatible formats. This lets agents call databases, big data, O&M and security services as easily as invoking functions, with dedicated product‑level agents helping customers manage complex environments more efficiently.
Alibaba Cloud is also upgrading its AI infrastructure for agent runtime, including lightweight execution sandboxes, cross‑task memory, seamless data circulation and intelligent O&M across the technology stack. These enhancements are designed to deliver more reliable, scalable and secure execution environments for production‑grade AI agents.
Qwen Cloud: AI‑native cloud for models and agents.
To simplify how businesses access and deploy AI, Alibaba Cloud unveiled Qwen Cloud, an AI‑native cloud platform that provides a unified model service experience for enterprises, developers and prosumers. Qwen Cloud uses a three‑entry design—Skills for agents, a Command Line Interface for workflow integration, and a user‑friendly website—so both agents and human users can connect to models in the way that suits them best.
The platform integrates a broad ecosystem of models, including Alibaba’s Qwen family alongside open‑source and third‑party models for text, vision, audio, image, video and embedding tasks. This gives customers a flexible foundation for building AI‑powered applications and agentic workflows tailored to their business scenarios.
Singapore initiative: building an AI‑ready workforce.
At the International Qwen Conference, Alibaba Cloud announced a new Singapore initiative with Tech Talent Assembly (an association under NTUC) and ST Telemedia Global Data Centres. The programme aims to equip more than 1,000 local SMEs and students with practical skills in generative and agentic AI through access to Alibaba Cloud’s GenAI and agent solutions, including Qwen and Wan, as well as hands‑on training.

“This reflects a growing effort by partners to work with the Labour Movement to better support workers, including youths and PMEs, with the skills, guidance and confidence to take on opportunities in the AI economy,” said Desmond Tan Kok Ming, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and Deputy Secretary‑General of the National Trades Union Congress. “Through NTUC’s AI‑Ready SG initiative, we will continue working closely with our partners to pool resources and strengthen impact on the ground.”
Enterprise agent products and ecosystem commitments.
Alibaba Cloud also debuted the JVS Agent Suite, a collection of enterprise‑grade agent toolkits for organisations, developers and individuals to build and operate their own AI agents. Built on the OpenClaw framework with cloud‑native security, JVS Claw Teams supports 24/7 cloud operation, centralised distribution of proprietary Skills and integrated security controls across agents.
JVS Mobile, another component of the suite, is an intelligent mobile automation platform that uses the Qwen model and native OpenClaw to power agents capable of autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent collaboration and complex task execution across applications. Alibaba Cloud further strengthened its open‑source credentials by joining the PyTorch Foundation as a Platinum member, aiming to contribute to next‑generation AI infrastructure and the wider open‑source AI community.
To engage developers and creators globally, Alibaba Cloud launched a hackathon for building production‑ready AI agents on Qwen Cloud using Alibaba’s models. A separate short film competition, co‑organised with design and video platform Picsart, invites creators to produce original AI‑generated films using Alibaba’s HappyHorse video generation model.
