vivo has officially launched the X300 Ultra in Singapore, marking the first international debut of the brand’s top-tier X Series imaging flagship. Designed for creators and photography enthusiasts, the new smartphone combines vivo’s latest imaging technologies with a ZEISS co-engineered camera system, advanced video tools, flagship-grade performance and premium design.

At the heart of the X300 Ultra is the new ZEISS Master Lenses Collection, which includes dedicated 85 mm, 35 mm and 14 mm focal lengths built for professional-style photography. vivo says the system is designed to give users greater creative freedom across portraits, documentary-style shots, landscapes and long-range zoom capture.

The 85 mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera uses a 200 MP sensor and supports up to 60 fps AF Tracking in snapshot mode, helping users capture fast-moving subjects with greater clarity and stability. It also features 3-degree gimbal-level OIS, ZEISS T* coating and Super Blue Glass to reduce flare and ghosting in difficult lighting conditions.

For more natural, everyday framing, the 35 mm ZEISS Documentary Camera uses a large Sony LYTIA 901 sensor and supports 200 MP direct output for detailed images in a variety of lighting conditions, including low light. The 14 mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera is also positioned as a key part of the setup, aiming to deliver main-camera-grade performance for landscapes and dramatic wide shots.

vivo is also introducing two telephoto extenders to expand the X300 Ultra’s reach even further. The new vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra enables up to a 400 mm equivalent focal length, while the lighter 200 mm Equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 offers improved portability without compromising optical performance.

Beyond hardware, the X300 Ultra introduces a new vivo Color Science system designed to improve colour accuracy, tonal depth and creative flexibility. Powered by a 5 MP multispectral colour-sensing camera with 12 colour channels and an upgraded flicker sensor, the phone is built to better analyse ambient light and deliver more refined colour reproduction in both photos and videos.

On the video front, the X300 Ultra supports 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log Video and 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision Video across all rear cameras, giving creators more flexibility across focal lengths. vivo has also added a new Pro Video Mode with more advanced controls, support for custom 3D LUT previews and compatibility with ACES workflows for smoother post-production integration.

Photography features have also been expanded with Street Photography 3.0Landscape Mode 2.0, upgraded portrait capabilities and burst shooting at up to 12 frames per second. vivo says these additions are aimed at helping creators capture everything from street scenes and portraits to landscapes, sports and wildlife with greater ease.

Powering the X300 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with vivo’s Pro Imaging Chip VS1+ and a liquid cooling vapour chamber to sustain performance during demanding photo and video work. The device also packs a 6600 mAh BlueVolt battery with 100W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge, alongside bypass charging for better thermal management during use.

Other highlights include a 6.82-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display with up to 4500 nits local peak brightness, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistanceArmor Glass, and 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0. The phone runs OriginOS 6, which brings cross-device productivity features, security tools and long-term software support, including a promised 5-year OS upgrade cycle and 7-year security maintenance.

In terms of design, the X300 Ultra takes cues from classic cameras, featuring a metal biscuit-style camera module, knurled detailing and engraved accents around the camera housing. It will be offered in Volcano Black and Steppe Green, with the latter drawing inspiration from the tones of unprocessed film.
