Singapore, 26 March 2026 – Intel today announced the availability of a new generation of laptops from leading PC brands, powered by its most advanced Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors built on the latest Intel 18A process technology. These systems introduce a new class of thin‑and‑light devices that break conventional trade‑offs between performance, portability and battery life.

Traditionally, laptops capable of playing AAA games have been bulky and power‑hungry, relying on dedicated graphics processors to deliver smooth frame rates. The latest Core Ultra Series 3‑powered laptops overturn that expectation, bringing gaming‑grade performance to much thinner and lighter designs.
Equipped with Intel’s highest‑performing integrated Intel® Arc™ graphics, these systems deliver graphics capabilities comparable to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, making them well suited for gaming, content creation and everyday multitasking on the move. Top‑tier Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors feature up to 16 CPU cores and 12 Xe‑cores, providing up to 60% faster CPU performance, up to 77% faster gaming performance and up to 27 hours of battery life while streaming Netflix, depending on configuration and workload.

Most people experience large language models (LLMs) through cloud‑based services that require an active internet connection, raising concerns around downtime, privacy and data confidentiality. With Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3, laptops now have the performance to run AI workloads such as local LLMs directly on the device instead of in the cloud, delivering up to 1.9x higher LLM performance compared with previous platforms.
Running AI tasks locally can reduce latency, cut dependence on network connectivity and keep sensitive personal or corporate data on the device.
