It’s official! Samsung today announced it’s 2022 lineup of Neo QLED TVs, Lifestyle TVs and Soundbars at the sophisticated National Gallery Singapore. Featuring cutting edge technology and immersive three-dimensional viewing and audio experience. Samsung’s new lineup is definitely going to create waves among it’s competitors.

With the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping through the world and people spending more time at home and in front of their TV screens. The expectation of the home TV is much higher than before. Samsung’s 2022 portfolio is built on the vision of ‘Screens Everywhere, Screens for All’. The TV itself will serve as the hub for the consumers’ home entertainment system and IoT smart devices.

The highlight of the event was definitely the upgrade to the Neo QLED series. The Neo Quantum Processor got an upgrade for both the 2022 Neo QLED 8k and 4k series. Boasting 20 independent neural AI networks that analyses the characteristics and picture quality of the content. The Neural Quantum Processor 8K provides optimal viewing regardless of the source.
Shape Adaptive Light technology which leverages the Processor’s powerful AI algorithms allows better control of the brightness and accuracy of shapes on the screen allowing more realistic pictures. While the the Real Depth Enhancer scans the screen and maximises contrast with the background, similar to what the human eye can do allowing objects to stand out against the background.
All of Samsung’s new 2022 QLED are Pantone Validated, meaning that they are able to reproduce more than 2,000 colors. Coupled with the EyeComfort Mode, these brilliant colors will be easy on the eye with the AI technology able to automatically adjust the brightness and color temperature for an optimised viewing experience.
Gramers rejoice! Refresh rate through it’s Motion Xcelerator TurboPro 4k was also enhanced to 144Hz, a good addition to gamers who wanted to connect to the big screen. Superwide GameView and GameBar allows multiple screens, allowing more efficiency during fastpace games and a more streamlined experience.
The Neo QLED’s sound capabilities have also been greatly enhanced, boasting both Object Tracking Sound Technology and Dolby Atmos®. The Neo QLED are also equipped with top-channel speakers, enabling upwards and sidewards firing speakers aims to deliver the perfect cinematic experience right in the comfort of your home.
The highest specification Neo QLED 8k retails at S$19,999 for the 85″ model and S$9,999 for the 65″ model while the Neo QLED 4k retails at $7,999 for the 75″ model and S$2,999 for the 50″ model.

Samsung also upgraded it’s Lifestyle TV series namely The Frame, The Sero and The Serif. They now boast a new Matte Display with anti-glare, anti reflection and anti fingerprint features.

The Matte Display was specifically impressive for The Frame, it enhances the picture quality of the painting that was show cased. Paintings are available on Samsung Art Store which offers more than 1,600 masterpieces from 54 global partners including National Gallery Singapore. NFT collectors rejoice as Samsung will also debut it’s NFT Platform in 2022, allowing consumers to not only display conventional Art but NFT digital art on it’s 2022 Neo QLED and QLED series too.

Worried that the art piece is vertical? The Auto Rotating Wallmount and Stand allows easy rotating of the mounted TV. Allowing the consumer to view their content in any orientation they like.

Samsung also introduces three new soundbar series with refreshed designs, Q series, B series and Ultra Slim.
Boasting the Q-Symphony technology, the Q Series soundbars work well with all TVs to produce a flawless and immersive harmony via the front, side, and up-firing speakers as well as the TV speakers. The top-of-range Q990B soundbar costing S$2,399 also features wireless rear speakers as well as true 11.1.4Ch sound6, providing a complete audio experience by reproducing all action on the screen and delivering the audio in 11 different directions.
The Ultraslim at just 39.9mm in size offers a minimalistic and sleek design for consumers looking for class with function. It retails at S$1,299 and comes in Black and white color.
The B-Series retails from S$349 offers a bass boost and adaptive sound technology which optimises the audio track for all types of entertainment contents.

Greatness never ends but evolves, but what’s greatness without compatibility. Samsung along with it’s evolved line of products also introduces a new Smart Hub. Powered by Tizen, the all-new Samsung Smart Hub consolidates all aspect of the smart experience into a single, easy to navigate home screen.
