James Cameron has stated he’s working on a couple of Avatar films simultaneously…for the whole of last decade. So you can see where we’re coming from when we say we’ll take his word for it and move on…
Turns out he wasn’t just blowing smoke…Avatar 2 is actually real.
Okay, we know it was filming alongside its sequels…we just didn’t think we’d see it this century or any other, really.
Surprisingly, it looks like we might!…possibly?
The official Avatar twitter account (that’s weirdly a real one) has just posted these concept artworks from Avatar 2.
Avatar 2 currently has a Dec 18 2021 release date…but we don’t suggest holding your breath.
